FRIENDS OF THE GARDENS
The Friends of the Ballarat Botanical Gardens is a voluntary organization of like-minded people with a common interest in the Botanical Gardens. Founded in 1982, the group has grown to over 300 members and provides several specialized interest groups such as the BotaniKids, Guiding Friends, Botanical Art, History group and others.
The Growing Friends grow and sell plants from the ‘Friends Nursery’ located behind the Robert Clark Centre every Tuesday and the second Sunday of the month between 1 and 4pm. Plants are also available from the trolley outside the Conservatory on a daily basis.
